As you probably realize, staying on Zanzibar (or any of Tanzania's islands) is generally a lot cheaper than being on safari. Don't forget to look at the options on Mafia Island also if any of your party are serious divers or snorkellers; Mafia doesn't have the same quality of beaches … but it's a lot quieter than Zanzibar, and can have a much more exclusive feel for a similar cost.

The EAC - Business & Investment Forum which was held on 2 April 2019 in Stockholm under the theme "Green Cities in East Africa” was a success. Hon. Anna Tibaijuka, the MP for Muleba South Constituency and former Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN-Habitat was a Keynote Speaker.

On the 3rd April 2019, Tanzanian Participants led by H.E Dr. Willibrod Slaa attended the SWEACC NGO Cluster Seminar.


Later all EAC guests participated in the SCANIA sponsored study/business trip and presentation on "Biogas Possibilities for East African Public Transport". They visited the Scandinavian Biogas Fuel Plant and Scania Democentre where they had a chance to test drive SCANIA trucks and buses.
